The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics Economic Survey of 2024 has laid bare the source of government finances for the financial year 2023-24.

The survey shows that a majority of government finances came from the Income Tax at 41.7 per cent,  Exercise Tax came second at 11.8 per cent.

The government collected a total of Sh3 trillion during the period.
