Digital technology is one of the most powerful ways for Kenya to boost its economic growth, a new report by Google has said.

The report says mobile broadband, cloud, and AI are particularly key to unlocking success over the next decade.

It says increasing access, reliability and speed of the Internet remains fundamental to supporting Kenya’s digital transformation.

Not only does the Internet provide essential services that consumers and businesses use on a daily basis, connectivity is also foundational for the adoption of more advanced technologies that rely on it, it says.
