"I know you have ice cream brain cells that melt under pressure. No wonder you struggle to understand predictions," Babu wrote on his X page.
The Embakasi East MP appeared to mock Mosiria's intelligence, suggesting that he struggles to comprehend certain issues when placed under pressure.
His remarks set the stage for a fiery response from the Nairobi County official, who was quick to return the insult.

"Better ice cream brain cells than a mind that relies on cheap stimulants and still cannot sustain an intelligent argument! At least ice cream melts naturally; arrogance and intellectual bankruptcy are much harder to cure. 😂" Mosiria wrote.
He went on to challenge Babu to engage in meaningful discussions instead of resorting to personal attacks.
"Babu, next time come with facts, not insults. Nairobi needs brains, not noise!" he added.
The drug reference was part of Mosiria's online insult and should not be taken as an established fact about Babu Owino.
The county official appeared determined to turn the exchange around, suggesting that his counterpart should focus on presenting facts rather than attacking him personally.
