Kenyan digital content creator Diana Bahati and her musician husband Kevin Bahati recently shared a candid moment on social media. The couple is well known for documenting their lifestyle, personal achievements, and high-value gifts.
In their latest online interaction, Diana presented Bahati with a bottle of Creed Aventus perfume, valued at Ksh 65,000.
As she handed over the luxury fragrance, the conversation shifted from the expensive gift to an embarrassing memory from Diana's early primary school days.
A Luxury Gift and a Playful Exchange
Diana surprised Bahati with the premium designer fragrance as a token of appreciation. However, Bahati initially responded with hesitation, explaining that he rarely uses artificial scents.
"This is a good perfume. I don't do perfumes," Bahati said upon receiving the gift.
He added playfully: "What do you mean? I'm natural. I'm a rasta man."

Upon discovering that the perfume cost Ksh 65,000, Bahati jokingly offered to resell the luxury bottle to his online followers at a discount.
"Okay guys, I'm selling this at 50," Bahati teased, placing a Ksh 50,000 price tag on the item.
Memories of Primary School Maths
The light-hearted moment turned reflective when Diana decided to share an uncomfortable childhood experience with her husband.
"Babe, can I tell you something? I want to tell you of the most embarrassing day of my life," Diana asked before recounting her story.
She recalled a moment in her early primary school years when her teacher asked her a basic mathematics question in front of her peers. She was asked: "While in class 8, the maths teacher asked me, ‘What is the square root of 24’?"
Admitting her complete confusion during the lesson, Diana added: "And I had no idea. Do you know he took me to class 2 and left me there,” she recounted.
Bahati quickly seized the opportunity to joke about her past academic struggles and their growth as a couple.
He teased her by saying: "That shows me marrying you I have helped you.”
Reflecting on Growth and Success
Rather than taking offence, Diana used the story to highlight her financial progress and personal success over the years. She explained that overcoming early hurdles allowed her to build a successful career and afford high-end items today.

"The beauty about it I have made it in life you have helped me make it in life I can afford Ksh 65,000 and buy for you a good perfume," Diana reflected.
She reaffirmed her intention to treat her husband to authentic luxury goods.
