Mombasa residents and community leaders have raised alarm over rising insecurity linked to groups known as “Panga Boys”, expressing concern over the safety of residents in affected areas. The residents are calling for stronger collaboration between the public and security agencies to help identify criminal elements, share information and curb the rising cases of crime. They say closer cooperation between communities and law enforcement officers is necessary to strengthen security and restore confidence among residents.
