The human rights commission(KNCHR) has raised concern over the abduction of Tanzanian political activist Tewala Salim in Makindu, Makueni County, on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The commission says Mwapaya was travelling in a taxi with two friends when unidentified individuals forcibly removed him from the vehicle and drove away in a dark car, raising concerns over his safety and human rights.
