A section of Makueni political leaders has dismissed President William Ruto’s recent visit to Ukambani, describing it as a political campaign rather than a development tour. Led by Senator Dan Maanzo, the leaders claimed several projects launched during the visit had stalled for years. They also maintained that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka would remain in the opposition and would not join the government ahead of the 2027 General Election.
