Manyatta Cider Celebrates the Taste of Home
Through its partnership with Kikuyu Love Session, Manyatta Cider reinforced its Taste Like Home proposition, highlighting familiar flavours and shared experiences that create a sense of belonging.
The collaboration reflects the brand’s commitment to supporting Kenyan cultural experiences that bring communities together while creating opportunities for audiences to connect with their heritage in contemporary settings.
Speaking about the partnership, Manyatta Cider Brand Manager Catherine Wahu said culture continues to play an important role in bringing people together.

“Culture has a special way of bringing people together, creating a sense of belonging and reminding us of the things we share. At Manyatta, we believe that some of the most meaningful moments happen when people come together over music, stories and experiences that feel familiar. Our partnership with Kikuyu Love Session reflects our Taste Like Home spirit and our commitment to celebrating the connections that make us who we are,” said Wahu.
Music, Heritage and Modern Kenyan Experiences
The Slightly Scandalous Edition encouraged attendees to embrace spontaneity, meet new people and enjoy a celebration of vernacular music and culture.
From the live performances to the interactions among guests, the event highlighted how cultural platforms can preserve heritage while appealing to contemporary audiences.

The presence of artists spanning different sounds also underscored the evolving nature of Kenya’s music scene, where traditional cultural influences continue to find space alongside modern musical styles.
For Manyatta Cider, the partnership offered an opportunity to connect with audiences through music, shared experiences and cultural identity.
Through its continued support of platforms such as Kikuyu Love Session, the brand aims to bring its Taste Like Home spirit to experiences that celebrate Kenyan culture and strengthen the connections people share.
