The IEBC has urged political candidates and their supporters to accept election outcomes, noting that only one candidate can win each elective position. Commissioner Anne Nderitu says electoral competition is a fundamental pillar of democracy, but peaceful acceptance of results is equally important. Speaking in Nairobi, she assured stakeholders that the commission is committed to free, fair and transparent elections ahead of the 2027 General Election.
