Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has visited residents of Tumaini in Kajiado North Constituency, Kajiado County saying are ready to support the new administration he is seeking to form.
In a message following a public engagement in Tumaini on Thursday, Gachagua said Kenyans were more concerned about access to essential services than political rhetoric.
He cited free education, better working conditions and free healthcare as some of the needs he said the government should prioritise.
“When an administration fails to deliver services, it resorts to pitting communities against one another through a divide-and-rule tactic,” Gachagua said.
He added that Kenyans wanted a government focused on meeting their basic needs rather than political publicity.
He described the administration he was seeking to form as compassionate and focused on service delivery.
“The people of Tumaini, in Kajiado North Constituency, Kajiado County, have told us they are ready to be part of the new administration we are forming, one that is compassionate and focused on delivering the services they need,” he said.
The engagement forms part of his outreach to residents as he seeks support for his political plans ahead of the 2027 General Election.
