Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC Director General Jean Kaseya says Africa is not yet winning the fight against Ebola, with more than 10,000 confirmed cases and nearly 5,000 deaths reported. Speaking to over 40 African ministers, Kaseya called for stronger cross-border coordination, national preparedness and continued movement across borders under close monitoring. He says African countries must unite in responding to outbreaks, warning that reported Ebola cases anywhere on the continent demands preparedness.
