POLICE ANNOUNCE ROAD CLOSURES AHEAD OF NAIROBI MARATHON

Nairobi traffic police have announced partial road closures and diversions ahead of the 23rd Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon scheduled for Sunday, October 25th. The closures will begin at 11pm on Saturday and end at 1:30pm on Sunday, affecting sections of the Southern Bypass and its interchanges with Dagoretti, Ngong, Lang’ata and Mombasa roads. Nairobi Traffic Commandant Joseph Chirchir has urged motorists to plan their journeys early, use designated alternative routes and follow traffic officers’ instructions to ensure safety and minimise disruptions.
