Kenya has asked the World Health Organization and Africa CDC to help it acquire 10,000 vaccine doses to bolster its response to an ongoing Ebola outbreak. Speaking at a virtual WHO Africa briefing, Health Director General Patrick Amoth said health workers will be prioritized when vaccination begins. The country has so far recorded nine Ebola cases, including one death.
