Education stakeholders in Samburu County have urged parents to closely monitor their children during the long school holiday to protect them from harmful practices and other risks. They expressed concern over cases of female genital mutilation which are often reported during the holiday season. Parents have been encouraged to guide their children and ensure their safety, while learners have been urged to act responsibly while out of school.
