A caucus of university student leaders and public health students has given the government 48 hours to end the public health workers’ strike or face nationwide demonstrations on Wednesday. Speaking at Kenyatta University, the leaders urged authorities to resolve the 90-day strike, which has paralysed health services. They warned that the continued disruption could undermine efforts to contain the spread of the Ebola virus.
