The government has been urged to fast-track regulations on accessibility and income tax to improve the lives of persons with disabilities. Kenya Society for the Blind CEO Samson Waweru says the regulations, which are part of the Disability Act 2025, are key to addressing barriers in public buildings and infrastructure that limit mobility and independence. He says full implementation of the Act is crucial to improving the lives of persons with disabilities.
