Mwala MP Vincent Kawaya has called on the University's Academic Staff Union (UASU) to stop using students to threaten the government and return to negotiations to resolve the ongoing lecturers' strike. While acknowledging lecturers' rights, Kawaya notes that thousands of students are losing valuable learning time. The legislator urges both parties to exercise restraint and restore normal learning.
