Health unions in the country are calling for better protection for healthcare workers on the frontline in the fight against the spread of the Ebola virus and other infectious diseases. This follows confirmation by the Ministry of Health (MoH) that three healthcare workers are among those who have tested positive for the virus. KMPDU Secretary General Davji Atella says doctors will not put their lives on the line if the government fails to provide adequate personal protective equipment.
