The government has pledged to fast-track development projects in West Pokot County to improve infrastructure and service delivery. President William Ruto has said the government had allocated 21 billion shillings to improve road connectivity across the county. He also announced plans to construct a modern market worth 300 million shillings in Kapenguria town and invest another 2.6 billion shillings to connect an additional 10,000 households to electricity.
