KEBS has warned traders against falsely displaying its certification mark on khat-infused drinks, commonly known as jaba juice. In a notice KEBS said the products are excluded from its certification scheme due to concerns over their psychoactive ingredients. The agency warned that misleading certification claims could trigger legal action and urged consumers to verify product certification through official channels.
