The Kenya Bureau of Standards has issued a public warning over the illegal use of its Standardization Mark on khat-infused beverages, commonly known as jaba juice. KEBS revealed that some certified fruit juice manufacturers are misusing their permits to market khat products, clarifying that no khat-infused drinks are currently certified by the bureau.
