Moderate to heavy rains are expected to continue this weekend in the Lake Victoria Basin, Western, Central and North Eastern regions. Franklin Komolkorir from the Met Department says some areas may experience sunny intervals in the afternoon. The department had projected the onset of El Niño rains in the second week of October.
