Former Nairobi Provincial Commissioner Davis Chelogoi has been convicted of conspiring to defraud three businessmen of a Sh1.35 billion parcel of land in Lower Kabete. Chelogoi was found guilty of conspiracy to defraud, forcible detainer, forgery and uttering a forged document. Chief magistrate Dolphina Alego cancelled bond terms of Chelogoi and directed that he be remanded at Nairobi Remand pending mitigation and sentencing scheduled for the 2^nd of November.
