EALA MP Winnie Odinga has officially declared her intention to contest the Nairobi Senate seat, saying she will pursue the position alongside young people as she charts her political future. Winnie made the announcement during the first anniversary celebration of her father, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga at Migwena Grounds in Bondo, Siaya County. She said the presence of Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna at the event had prompted her to address questions about her own political ambitions.
