Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has initiated the process of renaming his Equitable Party (TEP) to the Linda Mwananchi Movement. The Registrar of Political Parties has confirmed receiving notification of the proposed name change and begun the gazettement process in accordance with the Political Parties Act.
