The Social Health Authority has extended the deadline for healthcare providers to complete their contracting requirements to December 31. In a notice, CEO Mercy Mwangangi said the transition period for existing provider contracts, which was due to expire on October 14, will now run until year-end. The extension gives facilities more time to finalise outstanding requirements, resolve challenges encountered in the process, and ensure beneficiaries receive uninterrupted healthcare services.
