Nyamira High Court has sentenced Lawrence Sagero to 15 years in prison for murdering his wife, Nancy Mongina, in April 2024. Justice T. Cherere convicted after Gesore six prosecution witnesses testified. The court heard that Mongina died from severe head injuries caused by blunt force trauma at Borioba Village in Nyamira North. The judge considered mitigating circumstances before sentencing him. Sagero has 14 days to appeal the sentence
