Mama Ida Odinga is urging young people to uphold her late husband Raila Odinga’s spirit of forgiveness and tolerance, warning against turning their love for him into a weapon against those they disagree with. Ida says Raila forgave people who wronged him deeply and called on his supporters to follow his example. She also urged leaders to give young people space to express themselves freely while encouraging the youth to respect elders.
