The Environment and Land Court in Nyandarua has declared Nakuru War Memorial Hospital the rightful owner of a 25-acre parcel in Milimani Estate, Nakuru. The court ordered the Nakuru County Government to vacate the property and withdraw its security officers stationed on the embattled, marking a major turning point in the prolonged legal battle. The county had taken control of the hospital in January 2024, alleging its management irregularly secured a 50-year extension of the land lease.
