The Public Service Commission has urged stronger partnerships between universities and public institutions so that research can shape policy and improve service delivery. Speaking on the Commission’s behalf at the 3rd Garissa University International Conference on Education, Research, and Innovation, Commissioner Harun Hassan stressed the need to bridge the gap between academic research and government practice. He said evidence-based research can tackle public service challenges, identify future workforce skills and widen opportunities for young people.
