Over 10,000 households across West Pokot County, are set to gain electricity access, through a 2.3 billion shillings government investment, aimed at driving rural economic growth. As part of his ongoing North Rift development tour, ahead of Mashujaa Day, President William Ruto,flagged off the 336 million shillings Last Mile Connectivity Project, in Kacheliba constituency, directly connecting more than 1,000 homes, to the power grid, to spur local businesses.
