College and university students in Nyandarua County have called for increased financial aid, saying current bursaries are insufficient to meet rising tuition and living costs. Speaking during an induction training for the Nyandarua County and Tertiary Students Association leadership in Ol Kalou, they urged the government to allow county governments to issue bursaries, arguing that the move would help more needy students access education.
