Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Uasin Gishu County is expected to be 85 percent complete during the this year’s national Mashujaa Day celebrations. Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo said construction of the 18,000-seat facility will continue after the October 20 event. The stadium will also support preparations for the 2027 elections. This year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations will focus on security, sports and the economy.
