Akorino musician and philanthropist Karangu Muraya broke down while recalling the painful loss of his two brothers, Paul Kareithi Muraya and Joshua Kagema Muraya, within four months.

Speaking during an interview on Monday, October 12, Karangu opened up about the emotional toll of losing his siblings and the accusations he faced from people online following their deaths.

The content creator explained that his eldest brother, Paul, had worked as a long-distance truck driver before suffering an accident that damaged his spine.

Paul eventually died in April, leaving Karangu and the rest of their family devastated.

Recalling the loss, Karangu struggled to contain his emotions as he spoke about the brother he deeply loved.

"My firstborn brother. I really loved him. We went for the burial. By God's grace we buried him," he said.

However, the family would suffer another devastating loss in August when his other brother, Joshua Kagema, died.

Joshua had been living in Karangu's home, where they shared meals and spent time together daily.

The repeated losses left the musician struggling to find the words to express his grief, revealing that he could not bring himself to speak during Joshua's burial.

He further explained that a photograph he shared while admiring a car at a car wash attracted accusations from social media users, with some suggesting he had received money after sacrificing his brother.
