Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia is calling for the disbandment of the National Alcoholic Drinks Control Committee and action against NACADA, accusing the agencies of failing to protect Kenyans from illicit and dangerous alcoholic drinks. Speaking in Parliament, Kaguchia said the agencies must take responsibility for deaths linked to illicit brews, arguing that raising the legal drinking age would not solve the problem if poisonous alcohol remains in circulation.
