Former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu, his wife Susan Ndungu and two others have suffered a major blow after the High Court upheld their convictions and sentences in a Sh588 million graft case. Justice Rose Ougo of the Milimani Anti-corruption court found that the DPP had proved beyond reasonable doubt that they were involved in the irregular award of a multi-million shilling road tender.  She further revoked the bonds granted to the appellants 14 days to appeal the decision.
