Kenyan digital content creator Meshack Kiprop Biwott, widely known as Arap Uria, has revealed that he is facing a tough decision regarding his ongoing housing project in Eldoret.
The comedian posted an update across his social media platforms after receiving multiple purchase offers for his residential property.
Tempting Offers and Internal Deliberations
The content creator admitted that several interested buyers have approached him with proposals to purchase the unfinished property.
Addressing his followers online, he acknowledged the unexpected influx of interest in his personal inbox.
He wrote: "I've received so many offers in my inbox, with others inquiring whether I'm willing to sell my dream home."
"This is a difficult decision to make, but let me have an internal discussion with myself first," he stated.
He promised to give a firm response to the inquiries shortly.
"I'll get back to you with an answer soon on whether I'll sell it or not," he added.
Two Years of Progress in Eldoret
The public reaction follows a milestone update shared by the comedian regarding the construction of his house. It has been exactly two years since he initiated the building process in Uasin Gishu County.
"Today marks two years since I dreamed of building my own dream home," he explained.
Property Features
The residential project features specific structural details that Arap Uria highlighted in his recent post.
The development is a 4-bedroom bungalow equipped with an additional study room. According to the creator, the project has reached an advanced stage of completion.
"Fast-forward to today, and I'm proud to say that my 4-bedroom bungalow, complete with an extra study room, is now 80% complete!" he stated.
He reflected on the practical lessons learned during the construction process.
"This journey has taught me that owning a home is possible when you make the right decisions and work with the right people," he wrote.
He encouraged his followers to consider property ownership in the region as well.
"You, too, can own a plot anywhere within Eldoret and take the first step towards building your dream home!" he stated.
From Classroom Teacher to Global Internet Sensation
Arap Uria's home-building journey marks a notable chapter in his career shift from education to digital entertainment.
Born in Moiben Constituency, Meshack Kiprop Biwott initially trained as a teacher at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2019 with a degree in Mathematics and Geography.
He later left the teaching profession to focus entirely on full-time content creation.
He gained widespread recognition for his lip-syncing comedy videos, particularly his viral impersonations of veteran English football commentator Peter Drury.
His lip-syncing clips eventually led to international corporate partnerships, trips to major sporting events like the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and a live meeting with Drury himself.
