Residents of Singiraine in Kajiado West are facing a severe water shortage following prolonged drought that has dried up water sources. Locals say they are travelling up to 45 kilometres in search of water, with prices also soaring. The crisis has been worsened by the closure of Tata Chemicals, which had been supplying water to the community for years.
