Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has warned that schools in the capital could be closed if the predicted El Nino rains pose a threat to learners. Appearing before the senate Roads and Housing committee, Sakaja said the county has intensified preparations for heavy rainfall and possible flooding, with officials reviewing measures to protect residents and critical infrastructure.
