President William Ruto has criticised Nairobi Senator and Equality Party leader Edwin Sifuna over claims that he would scrap the affordable housing project if elected president in 2027. Ruto defended the housing levy, saying it supports job creation for young people and professionals while providing decent homes for residents living in informal settlements.
