Following a milk shortage in the country, Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji has urged the government to reduce taxes on animal feeds to encourage dairy farming. He says high taxation on animal feeds and fodder crops discourages farmers, despite government’s call to diversify milk sources to boost national supply.
