A man accused of posing as a Catholic priest in Lodwar has been charged afresh with forging and presenting a fake ordination certificate. Jones Onchongo allegedly forged a certificate purporting to have been issued by the Diocese of Morogoro in Tanzania. He had earlier been charged with impersonating an ordained priest and allegedly deceiving church leaders in Lodwar. Onchongo denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of 100,000 shillings. The case will be mentioned on December 17th.
