Mama Ida Odinga will preside over an international candle-lighting ceremony at Kang’o Ka Jaramogi today, marking one year since former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s death. The commemoration steering committee, led by Adams Oloo, says proceedings start at 6pm and will unite Kenyans and Raila’s supporters around the world. The committee urged everyone to light candles in their homes, churches, mosques and community gatherings, honouring the late leader’s enduring legacy.
