Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has called for the adoption of green solutions within prisons and other correctional facilities. Speaking during Correctional Services Week, Kindiki urged facilities to integrate renewable energy, water conservation, climate-smart agriculture and proper waste recycling. He emphasized that prisons must evolve into productive agricultural hubs and platforms for modern, environmentally responsible development
