Democratic Party leader Justin Muturi has called for an independent investigation into allegations of possible Ebola screening failures involving a traveller from the Democratic Republic of Congo who reportedly arrived at the JKIA. Muturi claims the individual may have been cleared following a telephone call before being taken to hospital. He wants authorities to establish whether public health protocols were followed and whether healthcare workers and other patients were adequately protected.
