The government has warned politicians against mobilising goons to disrupt peace ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking in Nairobi, Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi said individuals threatening security would face the full force of the law, regardless of their political affiliation or status. Mudavadi reaffirmed the government's commitment to a peaceful electoral process, saying security agencies were strengthening coordination to address threats before, during and after the elections.
