The Ministry of Health has urged Kenyans to remain calm, observe public health measures and rely on official channels for accurate information following confirmation of an imported Ebola case in the country. The National Multi-Agency Ebola Taskforce, led by Public Health PS Mary Muthoni, has reviewed containment measures, focusing on case management, resource mobilisation, isolation facilities and protecting frontline health workers to prevent further transmission.
