The European Union has warned digital platforms against livestreaming the planned execution of US mass shooter Nidal Hasan. US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon have proposed broadcasting the execution by firing squad of the former Army psychiatrist, who killed 13 people in an Al-Qaeda-inspired attack at a military base in 2009. The execution is scheduled for December 3, although President Donald Trump has yet to clarify whether the event will be publicly broadcast.
