Patrick Mbacio Thiro, popularly known as Patrick The Truth, lived several lives before becoming a familiar face on Kenyan TikTok.

The 64-year-old passed on September 26, 2026, and was buried at his family home in Michatha Farm, Molo, Nakuru County, on Friday, October 9.
His eulogy, read during the burial, offered a glimpse into his life beyond social media, detailing his upbringing, education, career and family background. It also drew attention to the absence of any mention of a wife or children of his own.

Mbacio's life before TikTok

According to the eulogy, Mbacio was born on May 20, 1962, in Molo Village, Nakuru County. He was the firstborn son of the late Joseph Thiro Mbacio, Christine Wacu Thiro and Eunice Wacuka Thiro.
He began his education at Turi Sulgwita Primary School before transferring to Michinda Primary School. He later undertook a driving course.

His working life took him through different sectors, including employment at Jamii Yako Supermarket in Mumias and work in the public transport industry.
He subsequently ventured into land selling and farming before finding an audience on social media.
It was on TikTok that Mbacio gained widespread attention through videos discussing women and relationships, often sharing bold opinions about his personal experiences.
One of his most talked-about claims was that he had hosted more than 1,200 women in his bedsitter. The claim went viral, helping establish his online identity as Patrick The Truth.

What his eulogy revealed about his family

While Mbacio's online persona frequently revolved around women and relationships, his funeral programme focused on his wider family.
The document listed his mother, siblings, nephews, nieces and grandchildren among those he left behind. However, it did not name a wife or any children of his own.
The omission attracted attention given the reputation he had built online through his stories about women.
However, the eulogy's silence on the matter does not independently establish whether he had ever married or had children.

His final years

Mbacio's health reportedly began deteriorating during the final three years of his life. According to the eulogy, he had diabetes and high blood pressure.

He received treatment at Nakuru Provincial General Hospital and spent three weeks there in June 2026 before being taken to Bungoma for further medical attention.
In his final weeks, he also appealed to women who had previously visited him to help with medication and other basic needs.
