Kenyan socialite and cosmetics entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has revealed why she prefers living in Arab countries over African and European nations.

Posting to her social media platform, the business executive explained that the region offers her privacy, personal freedom, and superior national branding.

"Some people love fame. I don't. I love to be left alone. All I think about is money."

Rise to Prominence and Business Growth

Born Alhuda Njoroge in Eastleigh, Nairobi, Monroe first gained continental visibility in 2013 when she represented Kenya on the reality television programme Big Brother Africa 8.

Following her appearance on the show, she built a substantial digital following, amassing over 2.3 million followers on her Instagram account.

In 2016, she launched Huddah Cosmetics to cater to African skin tones. She later expanded her commercial footprint by founding Rich Beauty LLC in Dubai, where she currently resides and manages her enterprise.

Freedom from Public Scrutiny

In a series of posts shared on her Instagram account, Monroe cited personal privacy and protection from media recording as primary reasons for her preference for the Middle East.

"I also love living in the Arab world coz no idiot can record me for TEA purposes.”

She noted that public encounters in the region rarely lead to recorded footage being circulated online.

"You can just see me and say it to your friends with no evidence."

Monroe emphasized that she prioritizes financial success over public attention.

Anonymity and Neighbourhood Privacy

Monroe explained that living in the Gulf allows her to navigate public spaces without being recognized.

"Also, I get to be myself out here. I dress Up and go to restaurants alone. No one knows who I am. Unless ofcourse you meet some bush people working at the place."

Contrasting her current life with her experience in Kenya, she criticized former neighbours in Nairobi for revealing her living arrangements.

"Also I don't have any Kenyan neighbors.”

"In Nairobi most of my neighbors were whites or Chinese, but the few Kenyan Neighbors would go telling everyone the I'm their neighbor.”

She stated that such actions compromised her safety and personal space.

"Risking my life and violating my privacy.”

"As if I want the whole country to know where I live. Disgusting behavior.”

She added that these disagreements caused friction in the past: "I have kosanad with people coz of that.”

National Branding and Marketing

Beyond individual privacy, Monroe commended the way governments across the Arab region promote their image globally.

"Why I love the Arab world. They know how to market their own countries.”

She argued that positive achievements in the region often go unmentioned in international reporting.

"Something like that would never be mentioned on any news outlet."

Her observations align with a broader movement of international influencers and entrepreneurs relocating to Middle Eastern commercial centres for business growth and lifestyle privacy.
